Hi Emma,

Yes, l looked into joining an apathy group, but l couldn't be bothered. And don't worry, the Indian Summer will soon be over and we'll have cold, icy winds roaring across a freezing landscape once more!

Look after yourself, dear Emma 😘

It was, a bit!! He didn't want Mum to have to guess what he wanted, but he couldn't talk to her about it, because she got upset. He'd been ill for a couple of years (cardiomyopathy), but then he was taken into hospital out of the blue (it seemed to us) and died 5 days later. He made sure he and I said goodbye properly, on his last night. He slipped into unconsciousness after that and never came round again.
