Hello, lovelies! I hope the snow (weird UK weather) isn’t playing havoc with your symptoms or arrangements. Thank you for the amazing response to last week’s missive. SO many great and genuinely helpful products out there.

At the risk of ex-communication and death, I’m going to mention that my Mother will be 68 on Monday. (As you read this I am fleeing to an uncharted isle in the Pacific, it was nice knowing you all)
Now the reason I have taken my life in my hands is I want to point out that at 68 she has more life, va-va-voom and vivaciousness than I have ever possessed. I can’t remember her being sick - the occasional migraine but not sick. She has an abundance of bounce, can talk the hind legs off a coffle of donkeys, drink most under the table and still have enough strength left over for book buying…by the box load. She has also moved house more times than a hermit crab.
And that all seems terribly topsy turvy to my mind. I’m only 46 and require at least 3 naps a day! OK, I have Parkinson’s but c'mon.
What is it about parky that makes us so exhausted? Is it the tremors and shakes? The sleep deprivation? The endless repetition of prompting your body to follow instructions…
“And UP, and up, UP, up you mother buggering piece of …Oh I’m standing.”
My exhaustion is why this is a very short missive, apologies! I’m off to play the PS5 and lie on the sofa.
How do you cope with exhaustion? I’d love to know!
With Love
