Thank you, Em! When I'm struggling with fear and worry, your determination, and the fact that you get up and create, helps.

What am I celebrating? I've sold a few more copies of my book, which is really slices of life in all it's mundane, lyrical non-glory. Weeee!!!

"Here's to another year of resilience, rants, and ridiculousness." xxxx

Thank you so much for being you. If I lived closer I think we would be good friends.

Winter here in Oregon has been and will be gray. My hubs and I are slowly in the process of moving to a half-the-size apartment and getting rid of precious things is a hard and tender thing. Out goes my wedding dress, my mom's wedding dress, my dad's WWII uniforms and my son's. Out goes my crystal, my mom's silver, my extra clothes saved for special occasions. Out goes my music so carefully curated from my time of voice lessons. Out goes one of my sewing machines and my serger. Out goes half of the art work.

By the time we put the house up for sale, it will be pretty bleak around here.

Keep up the good work. I need you.
