  • Vision

Visual disturbances are common in Parkinson's disease symptoms range from double and blurred vision to complex visual hallucinations and illusions.

Yet again Parkinson’s provides the full effects of inebriation and intoxication without the fun.

  • Vacation

“No man needs a vacation so much as the man who has just had one.”
― Elbert Hubbard

  • Voice

Many people with PD speak quietly and in one tone; they don't convey much emotion. Sometimes speech sounds breathy or hoarse. People with Parkinson's might slur words, mumble or trail off at the end of a sentence.

Solution? Live with teenagers.

Hi dear Emma

Well, you're nearly through the alphabet! Must be a relief for you, but it's been a very enjoyable ride😁

My suggestion for V is vicissitudes (yes, l did have to check spelling). Vicissitudes "an unwelcome change of circumstances or fortune" seems to describe the PD dx perfectly.

Hope you're doing well and have recovered from your recent illness and you can get out and about again.

Over here a storm is blowing, it's really autumnal...a bit melancholy but cosy. The perfect evening for a good glass of Malbec and a good book. I'm reading the 3rd Richard Osman detective, it's really easy reading and a good laugh. Have a lovely evening! Sending love, Sarah xx
