  • Hallucinations

Some people experience hallucinations or delusions in PD. Often it is associated with medication but not always.

I suffer horribly from visual disturbance whereby I believe my household is in order and in a state of cleanliness only to realise it has been ravaged by teenagers, collie dogs and my general apathy to cleaning.

  • Happy

Dopamine and serotonin depletion can affect our ability to experience happiness. The general misery of having Parkinson’s can lead to decreased happiness.

The solution? Surround yourself with the PD community who are full of fun, support and joy. Laughter, after all, is the best medicine.

  • Have You Tried?

The precursor to a series of inane but kindly meant suggestions to cure Parkinson’s.

  • Home

A place which is of comfort but also fraught with extreme danger. Filled with a variety of death traps:

A padded cell should be considered.

Oh, the “Have you tried…” brigade!!! Even my sister joined them when I was first diagnosed. She hates not being able to cure me….
